Actress Kate Micucci of “The Big Bang Theory” disclosed that, in spite of never having smoked, she was just recently diagnosed with lung cancer.
In a TikTok video that she posted on Saturday, the 43-year-old actress was shown lying in a hospital bed and she talked about how she was healing from lung surgery that she had to have to treat the illness.
Hello to all of you. “This is a SickTok, not a TikTok,” Micucci jokingly said. “I’m in a medical facility. It’s because yesterday I underwent surgery for lung cancer.”
“They caught it really early,” she went on. I’ve never smoked a cigarette in my life, so it’s kind of bizarre.”
“It caught me off guard,” Micucci said. However, I suppose it also occurs. The good thing is that they discovered it early. They managed to extract it. I’m doing fine.
“But it’s been a little bit of a trip, and I’ll probably be moving slow for a few weeks, but then I’ll be back at it.”
The native of New Jersey continued by expressing her excitement about picking up painting again. Micucci is not just an actor but also a comedian, singer-songwriter, and visual artist.
“Why do I continue to speak? since I’m high,” Micucci jokingly said.
